Way Black When: Primetime
Los Angeles
TVONE presents Way Black When: Prime Time, a trip back to the golden age of Black pop culture featuring the biggest icons of the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.
Way Black When: Primetime has everything you want in a show- comedians, musicians, celebrities, and sketch comedy spoofing the things we used to think were cool; hairstyles, fashion trends, and even popular TV One originals, Unsung, Life After and The Blacklist. WBW: Primetime will showcase each decade with a guest host, celebrity guests, a music act and a comedian who provide the tunes and the tone of the time. It’s a chance to see your favorite singer growing up or a comedian you never got to see perform live.
Hosts and guests include Tommy Davidson, Paul Mooney, Bell Biv Devoe, Sinbad, Niecy Nash, Bobby Brown, Naughty by Nature, Mario Van Peebles, Kool Moe Dee, Al B Sure, Sheila E, Kurtis Blow, Kim Coles, Vanessa Williams, Christopher Reid, Tony Tone Toni, and so many more.
